Low Carb White Gravy

A creamy Southern style low carb gravy. No flours or mixes required for this delicious and thick keto white gravy! Perfect for topping your favorite biscuit, pork chop, or scrambled eggs.

Ingredients

– heavy whipping cream – cream cheese – bacon grease – pepper – salt – chicken broth – xanthan gum

In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, add bacon grease and let warm up/melt if not already liquified.

STEP 1:

Add the heavy cream and whisk to fully combine grease and cream.

STEP 2:

Add the cream cheese cubes and whisk continuously until fully melted and combined.

STEP 3:

Add the chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Whisk continuously until everything is absorbed and mxed. The mixture should resemble thick white gravy at this point.

STEP 4:

Add the xanthan gum and whisk for 30 second until combined. Do not cook too long or it will become “glue” like.
