Keto Everything Bagel – Low-Carb Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried Italian herb seasoning
  • 1/2 – 1 cup cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp Everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 Fahrenheit (190 Celsius). Place a non-stick baking paper on a baking sheet.
  • Add the almond flour and all of the dry seasonings (except the everything bagel seasoning) in a large bowl and mix until it’s well combined.
  • Take a second bowl and combine the mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Heat it in the microwave for a minute, stir it, and place it back in the microwave for another minute. Take it out and mix until it’s well combined.
  • Crack an egg into the cheese mixture and fork whisk. Crack another egg in a separate bowl, fork whisk it and leave it on the side. You will use this later on to brush the bagels.
  • Combine the flour mixture with the cheese/egg mixture and mix until you get a smooth dough.
  • Cut the dough into six equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball. Make a hole in each piece by pressing your finger in the center of the ball. Apply the same technique to the rest of your dough balls.
  • Place the bagels on the baking sheet and brush them with egg wash. Finally, sprinkle your Everything bagel seasoning and bake them in the middle of the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
