You only need four ingredients to make this sugar free keto bbq pulled chicken in your crockpot or Instant Pot! Served with keto coleslaw and keto French fries, you’ll have an easy and family friendly weeknight keto dinner.

Keto bbq pulled chicken with zero sugar and only 2 net carbs.

Is there anything better than a juicy and saucy bbq sandwich?

I’m from down South (and yes, South deserves a capital S) where bbq is a lifestyle and a birthright.

Even though I technically still live south of the Mason Dixon here in Kentucky, I’m on the northern edge of the Bluegrass state and BBQ up here just can’t hold a candle to what I grew up eating.

Years ago, I came across a fantastic recipe for crockpot BBQ chicken.

I wish I could remember where I got that recipe but it’s been so long that I don’t have a source.

Anyway, it became a staple meal in my house.

But when we started eating keto, I had to file that old recipe card away because sugar free and bbq don’t usually go hand in hand.

Until now, that is!

Over the last year, I’ve slowly started adapting my old non-keto recipes into keto-friendly recipes.

Eating healthy, sugar free, and gluten free does NOT mean you should have to sacrifice flavor, happy tummies, and good food.

This keto bbq pulled chicken recipe can be cooked in both the Instant Pot or crockpot.

If you’re really pressed for time, you could even whip up the sauce and toss it with rotisserie chicken.

I like to serve mine as nachos with pork rinds, shredded cheese, and a drizzle of extra BBQ sauce!

You could also serve this as a sandwich on my Low Carb Cornbread Muffins (adding keto coleslaw of course!) with a side of Keto French Fries

Heaven on a plate, I tell ya!
