Zero carb and zero sugar keto Chick-Fil-A sauce. Perfect with copycat keto chicken nuggets. Kid friendly and mom approved!

Ask and you shall receive! After y’all went crazy for my sugar-free yum-yum sauce, I was asked many times to make a keto Chick-Fil-A sauce. It didn’t take much arm twisting to get me to accept that challenge. Chick-Fil-A sauce is so good I could drink it with a straw. My family are frequent diners of that blessed establishment and truth be told, I used to go solely for the fact that they had my favorite dipping sauce.

I knew a few of the basic components of Chick-Fil-A sauce (thank you packet ingredient list) so I got in my kitchen and started my ultra classy, extremely precise, culinary astute recipe testing. Mix, finger dip, taste. Repeat until it’s just right. See? Classy and highly technical.

Why You Will LOVE This Recipe

  • Did you know that there are 6 carbs and 6g of sugar in just ONE packet of the original?! As much as it pains me, I have to pass on these days. The problem herein lies…once you’ve eaten chicken nuggets with that sauce, you just can’t go back to anything else. So, I had to try to replicate the beloved dip into a keto-friendly version. My keto version is zero carb and zero sugar-alcohol!
  • Making a sugar-free keto Chick-Fil-A sauce doesn’t require any special ingredients. If you’ve been eating low-carb and sugar-free for any length of time, I would bet $100 you have everything you need already in your pantry and refrigerator.
  • Your keto Chick-Fil-A sauce will not be as yellow as what you’re used to. This is simply because the ingredients are much cleaner and we’re not using dyes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
  • 2 tsp sugar-free barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp powdered monk fruit

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a bowl or food processor. Whisk or pulse until combined.
  2. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator up to two weeks.

FAQs

I really miss the color of the real stuff!

If you just have to make it match the color, you can add some orange food coloring but really, why would you?

What is monk fruit?

Monk fruit is a small, green Chinese fruit used for centuries in the country’s traditional medicine as a natural sweetener. It’s becoming a popular alternative to sugar as it’s low-calorie and low-glycemic. Keep in mind monk fruit is about 200 times sweeter than sugar, so just a dab or two will do you.

Can I use the swerve brand instead of monk fruit?

If you prefer Swerve, then yes, you can.

What brand of barbecue sauce did you use?

I typically use the G. Hughes brand, original or hickory label!

How To Store The Chick-Fil-A Sauce

Pour the sauce into an airtight container. If you want to keep the sauce around for more than a few days, try placing a layer of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the sauce before sealing the container to prevent a skin forming. Store the sauce in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Having the sauce at your disposal means that you can fill up 1-ounce plastic containers and take the sauce with you! I can throw them away when I’m done eating and be so proud of my adult self for being prepared!
